Top 20 Websites in South Africa

It’s not surprising that Google owns three of the top four sites used by South Africans, but it might surprise you that we like shopping online – Gumtree is the most popular South African site after Google and Bid or Buy and OLX both make the Top 20 list.  (Kalahari is at number 45.)

We don’t have reservations about online banking; we clearly trust the three major banks to offer good security.

But mostly, we use the internet for research and keeping in touch.
